Today it was announced that .coke, .nyc, and .law are just a few of the newly approved domain names that will be included with .com, .net, and .org. The Global Internet regulators approved many more, but many companies for the time being are keeping mum till the new domain names get rolled out late next year. This will be an interesting issue to watch and see how it affects online brand marketing and search engine optimization.
